About

When I started working with my kids' PTG in 2019, we paid several hundred dollars each year for a clunky Wordpress site.

Parents found it difficult to get information from it. Making PTG processes fit within the confines of WordPress plugins caused more issues than it solved.

PTG-in-a-Box grew out of my frustrations with this website. I started doing tiny, one-off tech projects for the PTG. Eventually, these independent projects combined into a single website for the school, and over time, evolved into a platform capable of helping any PTG.

PTG-in-a-Box is not perfect. However, it was born out of real PTG experience. I'm always chatting with PTGs to figure out how to make it better. My goal is to establish a community-driven platform that helps as many schools as possible.
